Summer Days
03:16
|
|||
Summer Days, Summer Days
Summer Days, Summer Days
Summer Days
Sometimes they get too warm
Summer Days
Can end in a thunderstorm
But you and I, well we won't cry
Our ship of love ill sail on by.
Summer Days
As the temperature starts to rise
Summer Days
And the dust starts to sting our eyes
Well you and I, well we won't cry
Our ship of love will sail on by.
Summer Days, Summer Days
Summer Days, Summer Days
Summer Days
Oh the evening is yet to come
Summer Days
It's so sad when the sunshine's gone
But you and I, well we won't cry
Our ship of love ill sail on by.

Bird Talk
03:18
|
|||
Bird talk by the waterfall
Where the children go to sing
The dancing water plays it all
Across the rhythm of the beating wings
They sing their songs
All day long
Childhood is a magic time
The future's full of dreams
The past is just a memory
That's floating down the stream where
They sing their songs
All day long
The weeping willow sheds a tear
For all the children playing here
her rings of time have measured fate
She sees the traps that lie in wait while
They sing their songs
All day long
He sees the island in his dreams
This cold November day
It was a magic time, it was a special place
Where his memory goes to play and
He sings his songs
All day long
He sings his songs
All day long

Big Brother is watching you
Big Brother is watching you
Watching you still
Watching you still
No trouble in catching you
No trouble in catching you
Grip tight as steel
Grip tight as steel
You think you're free as a bird
You think you're free as a bird
Open your eyes,
Open your eyes
A prison with invisible bars
A prison with invisible bars
Traps you inside
Traps you inside
Turn it away today!
The longer you sit and wait
The longer you sit and wait
The deeper it goes
The deeper it goes
Soon it'll be far too late
Soon it'll be far too late
The end of the road
The end of the road
Turn it away today!
Big Brother is watching you, Big Brother is watching you, Big Brother is watching you....

The Sea
04:02
|
|||
Green green sea that kisses the horizon
The crescent and the cross walk and in hand
Blue blue skies to feast your eyes on
The wonders of the world are sketched in sand.
Lie down lie, let the sun caress you
People of the world in the heart of the beast
Holiday to calm and rest you
What could ever drown your sleep in peace?
The sea, the sea, the sea, the sea.
Green green sea that kisses the horizon
The crescent and the cross walk and in hand
Blue blue skies to feast your eyes on
The wonders of the world are sketched in sand.
The sea, the sea, the sea, the sea.
The crescent and the cross walk hand in hand
Hand in hand in hand
Take a souvenir from the contraband
Of this promised land
The sea, the sea, the sea, the sea.
Fight man fight to get to the shore
The crashing of the waves, the battling swell
Bursting boats can't take any more]while the masters in the deckchairs Curse you to hell.
Go home! Go home! Go home to your war zone!
Green green sea that kisses the horizon
The crescent and the cross walk and in hand
Blue blue skies to feast your eyes on
The wonders of the world are built on sand.

The Mad Bicycle Song
02:46
|
|||
It's a machine to make you feel afraid
No-one remembers just how it came to be made
Every turn of the wheels
Changes the way that you feel
It's a machine to make you feel afraid
Day after day revolving in a spin
Driving you down to darkness deep within
Every turn of the wheels
Changes the way that you feel
Day after day revolving in a spin
It's a mad, mad, mad bicycle that you ride upon
So instead, instead jump off it and walk into the sun.
It's not so bad to take yourself in hand
Life can be simple, not hard to understand
Walking side by side, no longer a need to hide
It's not so bad to take yourself in hand.
It's a mad, mad, mad bicycle that you ride upon
So instead, instead jump off it and walk into the sun. It's a mad, mad, mad bicycle that you ride upon
So instead, instead jump off it and walk into the sun.

Feathers
02:47
|
|||
Who says the devil sews all the fine seams?
What sort of tailor unravels your dreams?
It's so unfair to crus all my butterfly wings
Damn you, you devil, get out of my life!
Stitching a world out of recycled wool
Rescuing hope from a desperate pool
It's so unfair to damage such fragile things
Damn you, you devil, get out of my life!
You can glare with your eyes
You can point with your horns
But I'll do what I want to do.
You can drum with your hooves
You can thrash with your tail
But I'm not afraid of you.
No I'm not afraid of you and I'll do what I want to do...
Yes, I'll weave a tapestry out of good deeds
I'll plant garden with hope-scented seeds
Breath of fresh air to blow all your feathers away
Damn you, you devil get out of my life
That's all I have to say.

Women of the World
03:18
|
|||
With a vision just as clear as the mountain air
The women of the world see a new way ahead
Reach out your hands 'cos the future's there
It's ours to have and hold
Women of the world, a change is in the air
Women of the world, you can feel it everywhere.
Sail the sea of change, sisters going in our song
It's a song of hope, for together we are strong
It's ours to have and hold
Women of the world, a change is in the air
Women of the world, you can feel it everywhere.
Oh, this is a call to peaceful arms
Oh, this is a call to peaceful arms!
Women of the world, a change is in the air
Women of the world, you can feel it everywhere.
The path of history's littered with mistakes of the past
It's time to build a future with a eace that will last
Reach out your hands 'cos the future's there
It's ours to have and hold
Women of the world, a change is in the air
Women of the world, you can feel it everywhere.
Women of the world, a change is in the air
Women of the world, you can feel it everywhere.

Who's that behind the camera lens
Who is it I can't see?
Who is the one that makes her
Smile so nervously?
Eyes to the left
She looks to escape
But the camera holds her still
Imprisoned in colour for a moment in time
Imprisoned against her will.
Oh what a happy holiday
Oh what a time they had
Sun and sand and a sea of champagne
Three cheers for Jack the Lad!
Don't try to steal the love of my child
Don't try to make her yours
All you possess is a trick of the light
Gripped in operator's claws
Eyes to the left
She looks to escape
But the camera holds her still
Imprisoned in colour for a moment in time
Imprisoned against her will.
Oh what a happy holiday
Oh what a time they had
Sun and sand and a sea of champagne
Three cheers for Jack the Lad!
The waves come and go
The tides ebb and flow
the boom of the sea
the madness in me....
Oh what a happy holiday
Oh what a time they had
Sun and sand and a sea of champagne
Three cheers for Jack the Lad!
Who's that behind the camera lens
Who is it I can't see?
Who is the one that makes her
Smile so nervously?
Eyes to the left
She looks to escape
But the camera holds her still
Imprisoned in colour for a moment in time
Imprisoned against her will.

Think of a brand new world with no poverty
If we could start again, oh what a dream.
And in our brand new world, we'll have liberty
Because on every side the grass is green.
There is plenty there for us all to share
We can learn to give as we learn to live.
Think of a brand new world with no poverty
If we could start again, oh what a dream.
And in our brand new world, we'll have liberty
Because on every side the grass is green.
From the palace gates to the shanty towns
Oh it's not too late to pull the barriers down
No more warlords drones, no more conflict zones
No more will to fight
The earth will turn in light
From the palace gates to the shanty towns
Oh it's not too late to pull the barriers down.
